Adventure Guides/Princesses

The Adventure Guides/Princesses program, a nationally sponsored program, aims to foster the tender bond between fathers and their children. This program encourages fathers and their children to spend uninterrupted time together as members of a large group, building memories and bonds that last a lifetime.
The Y Adventure Guides program is for dads and their kindergarten through 3rd grade sons and daughters. You and your child will be a part of a small group of 6 to 9 other father / child teams who meet approximately once a month on a rotating basis at the members homes.

Your group will be part of the Rockwall County Family YMCA's Dakota Federation.  Federation events are held monthly and include:

· Campouts at Camp Grady Spruce, Sky Ranch and Camp Classen
· Open Ceremony - Family Dinner**
· Family Swim Party**
· Pumpkin Carving - Carnival**
· Turkey shoot**
· Christmas Parade**
· Father / Daughter dance
· Derby Day
· Rocket Launch
· Father/Son Speedzone Day

**Included in registration fees

Fees:  YMCA Family Members: $30 annual registration fee
           Activity Members: $50 annual registration fee  
           (This fee does not cover the cost of Federation events.)
